World War Two Christmas Cards and Invite
Three Christmas gift cards from Daventry Borough Council 1943, 1944 and 1945 to serving soldiers.The reverse of several have been used as notes to the family member in service or as a list of items, possibly to take when back on active duty. One item is an invitation from Daventry Borough Council, The Royal British Legion and Mayor to a welcome home reception for ex service men and women on 20th December 1946 at the Regal Cinema and then Abbey Buildings.
