Framed print of a portrait of King Leopold III of Belgium 1914 (also know as Albert I, March 1916). Presented to the Corporation of the Borough of Daventry by the Gryson family who were Belgian refugees as a recognition of the hospitality extended to them during their residence in the town during the First World War. Presented to the Borough of Daventry Corporation by Belgian refugees the Gryson family in recognition of the hospitality they received in the town during the First World War. The Grysons, four of whom settled in Daventry, left Nieuwpoort, Belgium, in 1914. A married Gryson daughter moved to Oundle, Northamptonshire.
