Lipscombe & Co. ceramic water filter
Lipscombe & Co. ceramic water filter found in the garden of the Fox & Hounds pub (now a Catholic church) on London Road, Daventry. It was known to have stood on the bar of the pub in 1954. Well-known during the 19th century as makers of water filters and fountains, Lipscombe & Co. exhibited their output at the 1851 Great Exhibition.
