Free Science Event at Daventry Museum

Graphic showing event date of Saturday 9th March, 2019. 10 AM to 4 PM.

Free, award-winning science event returns to Daventry Museum, coinciding with British Science Week from 8 – 17th March 2019. This year’s theme is based on ‘journeys’ and visitors will be able to take part in fun activities and hands-on experiments relating to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). As with previous science events held at the museum, young visitors will be encouraged to complete an activity pack, designed for children to explore and take part in the activities, in order to find answers to the questions and be in for a chance of winning a prize. One of the prizes is a new Roald Dahl book, Matilda’s How to be a Genius.Representatives from Cummins will be exhibiting a robotic arm and teaching visitors to use code to instruct the arm to move in various directions. Check out our Facebook event page to receive updates and details on what to expect when you visit. No need to book!
