Collect-o-Mania Exhibition inspires young collector

Mia Fox, aged 6, who was inspired by the museum and created her own display of 'Tsum Tsum's'.

Daventry Museum’s new exhibition that showcases individual collections owned by members of the public has inspired Mia Fox (aged 6) to display her very own collection of ‘Tsum Tsum’s’.

Mia’s collection of stuffed toys consists of 2 large characters and approximately 30 mini characters, all of which are based on Disney films. The collection started about 18 months ago after receiving her first ‘Tsum Tsum’ from Father Christmas.

The name ‘Tsum Tsum’ is derived from the Japanese verb tsumu meaning “to stack”, because the toys are designed to stack on top of each other, forming a pyramid shape.

The museum is open on Saturday 1st October from 10am to 4pm so why not pay us a visit and be inspired by the weird and wonderful objects on display.

If you have a collection that you would like to exhibit then please contact the museum on 01327 301246 or email [email protected]
