Nostalgic Event at Longlands Specialist Care Centre

The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Lynne Taylor and volunteers from Daventry Museum joined Longlands Specialist Care Centre on Friday 11th November to help commemorate Armistice Day through a Remembrance Day Party for residents. Collect-o-Mania Exhibition inspires young collector

  Daventry Museum’s new exhibition that showcases individual collections owned by members of the public has inspired Mia Fox (aged 6) to display her very own collection of ‘Tsum Tsum’s’.   Mia’s collection of stuffed toys consists of 2 large characters and approximately 30 mini characters, all of which are based on Disney films. The Somme Remembered at Daventry Museum

On Saturday 2nd July Daventry Museum held a special, commemorative event marking the Centenary Anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.
